I guess it would be better to make sure an ambulance is available to take care of the judges. Wouldn't want a MINI interior ruined on the trip down the mountain!

Oh, baby! You KNOW you like the trash! All of the chilis were tasty last year, but being an Angeleno, I'd like to see major SPICE and HEAT! Hot cha cha!!

I was a judge last year, and we had NO idea which chili was prepared by which chef! I can only say that it was a fun time....despite all the whining complaints of my fellow-judges!

****running for cover****

Funny -- I don't recall you saying this last year

In fact, I recall you talking about entering -- (and I quote here) "to show these people what Chili really is." Hmmmmm.

Okay, all this talk about uber-hot chili got me thinking. With all the very cool logos surrounding this event, both on t-shirts and here in the forums, someone has to come up with one showing a fire-breathing dragon. With the flames coming out the other end, of course.

Now THAT'S chili!

Hey, baby! If you can't take the heat, better get out of the Chili-Makin' kitchen!

I'd LOVE to see you butt-scoot through a 5 gallon tub of ice cream! LOL!

In case you "chefs" have not heard about them, you really need to check into using some spices! They come in little jars and make food ingredients taste different when the cooking is done.

And to my final point, I don't think last year's chef's knew the difference between candy corn and a habanero pepper, so let me give you a couple more pictures for the visual learners out there. . . .

This is a candy corn, it tastes like sweet poo poo and does not add any heat to a pot of chili:

This is a habanero pepper, the hottest pepper in the world which will ensure that your chili does not taste like candy corn:

Come on Chili Cook-Off contestants, this year I hope you try to make the judges go instead of !

Well at least one of last years chilie cookers went light on the hot stuff cause one of the other judges said that YuccaPatrol could not take the heat now that he was getting all old and stuff.

I, however, *WAS* the youngest and dang proud of it!!!!

I'm young and sharp -- so, don't think it has gone unnoticed that Clover is unwilling to step up to the plate and put her chili where her mouth is. Seems last year, she was all talk ---- this year, no chili as she had once promised (or was that threatened).

Careful, Minzilla, people are going to think we actually get along -- all this agreeing we've been doing --- so much for the "trash" talk.

But my chili is going to beat your chili with its "hands" tied behind its back.

Oh, baby! I'll bring the "special Chili Cooking equipment" so I can try to cook it like a "Man."

But regarding the Chili Cook-Off, since I am co-organizing the Welcome Dinner, I kinda felt that was enough on my Dragon plate......

Not sure I want to go there??,,,,,,,, But Still think you are a weenie and making all sorts of excuses for not entering a Chili, and remeber lewdness will be disqualified, so leave all the "toys " at home!

Speaking of Weenies, where are all the other chili experts?????
