I'm not 100% sure I will make the 6AM. I normally work nights and the time change is going to be rough. I will try to go with you all. I am thinking I will try to go Thursday sometime also.

Sorry TEN to be going so early, but if we don't it will be hard to make it for the Sky way drive. Hope you will make it, or at least go on Thursday without us all!!!

The ride

Hello all, I just checked the weather forecast for saturday. Weather.com's prediction is 30% few showers , 79 high, 52 low. Please be prepared with warm, cold, rain gear and that your bikes are in good running order. I look forward to a great ride.

Great - thanks minibrute - sounds like it is going to be a great ride.

We have accounted for you, me, Big Jimmy and BatGirl555, but the other two, MINItencan and Cr1ms0n have not confirmed whether or not they are coming.

I am hoping to have a pre-ride meeting on Friday - before the Photo at the damn, so if you two want to meet us then to find out where we are meeting on Saturday morning, please check here tomorrow pm, and hopefully we will have come up with a time and place to meet for our pre-ride meeting.

Really looking forward to this ride!!

See you all soon.

OK, so we have come up with a time and place for a pre-ride meeting.

Meet at 2.30pm on Friday at the Fontana Texaco Station.

I will be there with Zipmore - who as you can see from my avatar is a BRG/W MCS with UJ on sunroof, white bonnet stripes, small UJ on drivers side of the bonnet, PIAA driving lights, and a Jolly driver!!!!!

minibrute will also be there - his MINI is a Black MCS with white bonnet stripes, so you should be able to spot us.

If you are not there, I do not know how you are going to know where to meet us on Saturday morning, as we are not sure where until we get down there.

Hope you guys make it.

mtb at motd

I may join you... I was debating whether or not to bring my bike and have decided not to since I'll already be bringing my mother and her dog..and luggage, etc. Not to mention the crappy mpg w/ mtb on top. If there's a bike available for rent..and the forecast is decent, I'll join you. I'll bring my pedals, shoes, helmet... and optimism! See you soon, Liz
