Intake Manifold Port Question (internally blocked port)
Intake Manifold Port Question (internally blocked port)
Ok, so have been working away on an "S" model for my daughter. Finally got it back together after and automatic transmission replacement. Did my own work. The car ran ok before I took it apart. Its time to start the car after all this work. But, I have come across a small issue. I seem to have an open port on the intake manifold and I don't know if there was something plugged into this port (don't find any unplugged hose), is it blocked off internally, or do I leave it open? My first thought it to put rubber cap over it to start the car. Better than a big intake leak. In the picture these are the 3 ports I am talking about. One goes to the valve cover, another to what I will call the purge air solenoid and the other is open. Any suggestions?
Welcome.
