Information Sources - manuals, parts, repairs, and more!
Here's a list of information sources that will tell you all about your Mini:
Your owner's manual.
Yep, that book in the glove box that no one ever looks at. It will tell you the meaning of that funny icon that appeared on the dash last time you started the car so you don't have to post a newb question here. Also the recommended oil, coolant, and more. What? You bought the car used and it didn't come with the car? See here:

VIN decoder to tell you the details of what options your car was built with:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...vindecoder.php
http://myminivin.com/
http://bimmer.work/
Parts diagrams and part number information:
www.realoem.com
https://www.etkbmw.com
Factory repair procedures:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/
Recalls, Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs), etc.:
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls
Enter "2011 Mini" for example and it will bring up a list of all information for that year's models. TSBs are under the Manufacturer Communications heading.
Bentley Service Manual
Available from our forum vendors. No, there's not a pdf of it to download (or if there is, it is scanned and pirated from the print copy). This is an extraordinarily valuable resource, over 1000 pages with details on everything. Available from our forum vendors and also on Amazon. Expensive, but it will save you the purchase price many times over.
DIY guides:

https://blog.bavauto.com/

Where to find an independent MINI repair shop?

Got more? Post to this thread and I'll add them to the list.
