2023 MINI Countryman (F60) – Wired Apple CarPlay support? Need help for AI box instal
Hey folks,
I’m considering purchasing an AI box for my 2023 MINI Countryman (F60), but the device **strictly requires the car to have native wired Apple CarPlay** (not just wireless).
I’ve checked the front USB-C port – it has the standard USB data icon, so it should support data transfer, but I’m not sure about CarPlay specifically.
1. Does the 2023 F60 Countryman support wired Apple CarPlay out of the box?
2. When you connect an iPhone to the front USB data port, does the iDrive system pop up the "Allow Apple CarPlay" prompt?
3. If wired CarPlay isn’t available natively, is there a coding solution or aftermarket module to add it?
