We picked up a 2024 Untamed Package Countryman S All4 today. My wife decided she could let go of her .04 Mini Cooper S, bought new 22 years ago. Car found through CarMax in Ohio and brought to NC. 9,300 miles with 1 year, 9 months left on factory warranty. Perfect condition. Loaded with Iconic package, and the all-important heated steering wheel. Paid a bit of a premium for options, low mileage, and condition ($34k), but I think a reasonable investment.
I didn't know if we would like the color combo, but my wife loved it. Trim cues are a bit gimmicky, but creative and pleasant.
Very different driving experience obviously, but still quick and responsive. All wheel drive will be a safety feature here in the western NC mountains (10 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway). And the 4 door and reasonable back seat fits my wife's social life in retirement.
Just one pic thus far, but looks like other gray/green Untamed cars in this forum.

Reason: typo in title
Here's the link to the CarMax listing. The photos are good with maybe a little color temperature variance. This "Untamed" model requires the "Iconic" package which makes it fully loaded. After a bit of homework, I decided I wanted a 2023, 2024 model rather than a 2025 due to the slightly small size. I did not know about the Untamed package, so this was an interesting discovery. The combination of non-metallic gray and a green interior is very distinctive. Although I'm a PCA guy, we're getting started with some friends in the Appalachian Mountain Minis, and although not a traditional Mini, should fit in with the crowd. It will be a little bittersweet giving up our BRG 2004 Cooper S, but a new beginning.
My wife has a 2023 Untamed. You’re gonna love it. Definitely different than the R53 but still a ton of fun. We make our way up to Western NC a good bit, maybe we’ll run into each other. I’ve never seen another one in the wild.
