As the titlle states, my MINI F60 2018 plug-in, does not charging anymore. I feel that the issue is on the charger. It starts to charge (all of the lights, between O and I, on the charger are on) and after some seconds a metalic sound is heard and the charging lights, between O and I, are off. I tried pushing the buttons but with the same result.
On the charger, the car icon has one green and one red light, the charger icon is green and the ''lighting/power'' symbol is green.
The car is charging successfully using another charger from a different car.
Is there a fuse inside the charger of the picture below?
After some research and asking around, i was told that the 3,7 KW circuit in the car is damaged.
The same can be assumed because of the light on the charger.
I tried another charger 3,7 KW and does not work.
I tried an 11 KW charger, form another brand, and it is charging as usual, and of course faster.
Have you faced a similar situation? How about the cost for the repair, if it is worth it?
