2020 f60 electrical problem short to ground kl30f
Looking to see if anyone near Detroit is an expert to help fix an electrical problem. I have a short to ground with battery draw and when things go wacky the whipers come on, crash warning and pedestrian warning along with cruise control warning. Also power to blower controls go out and when this happens there is no connection to read codes as it won’t connect using ista d.
it appears to be intermittent. I was able to disconnect the battery and reset it to work again but at times that didn’t work.
I tried the test light option between the ground and pulled each fuse one at a time both in the fuse pannel and the bdc but the light did not go out. I also pulled the relays in the fuse panel behind the glove box with no luck. I also unplugged each connector one at a time on the bdc but light never went out.
I also tried to unplug the shifter and no change as well.
anyone have any ideas or know of anyone in the area good at tracing these types of problems?
I’m thinking it has to be something that gets direct power.
I was able to read the codes and seen a kl30f cannot be activated short to ground and terminal 30f reset or deactivated.
I have a few other codes but that’s from disconnecting the battery and messing around trying to figure it out.
any thoughts?
im worried if I take it to the dealer it may be to technical for them.
