Clubman roof rails on a Countryman

Has anyone looked into swapping their roof rails out for those from a Clubman? I like how the Clubman rails are lower profile and they supposedly use the same crossbars. Looking at the rooflines and they are very similar so I'm thinking about doing some research into if they are swappable..

That’s an interesting project. I have both a clubman and countryman and the cross bars are interchangeable. Id have to measure to see if the rails are the same length and certainly can’t say where the mounting points are. Changing out the rails sounds intense, but I agree, the countryman with oem cross bars sits really height. If you got lower profile rails it may be a solution for you.

If you don’t mind measuring and maybe posting a picture that would be awesome. My guess is that they bolt in from the under side of the roof and would require removal of the headliner. A bit of a project but not too bad if they mount up the same.
