Where is the cabin air intake of this countryman?

Hi Guys, we have a Countryman MK1 and my wife considers the latest one (F60). However, I have discovered something disturbiung about the first gen countryman. The cabin air intake is right behind the battery. Who on earth thought it is OK and healthy for people to breath sulphur evaporations? I really need to find out is this the case with the new one (F60). Is the hole located behind the battery again?

It's an AGM battery.

The R60 used an AGM battery too: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...&q=61216805461

I know, but it still has sulphur and lead and the processes that go with/between them.

But it's a sealed battery, the only way it ever vents into the atmosphere is in an overcharge condition which should never happen due to the battery registration with the vehicle. This is why it's important when you replace your battery to have it the vehicle coded for it.

I really honestly think he is trying to find reasons why they should get rid of their mini. Mini’s aren’t for everyone, and from other post here it really looks like he is trying to nitpick what he can, so that he can influence his wife into getting rid of it.

OK, kind of busted, but I am a massive petrol head and have always treated her as equal to the M3. I even wash her with the M3 shampoo and wax with the m3 wax )) Check her out:

That is clean. Here is my thing, if you truly loved it that much, you would be finding a way to fix whatever little issues you might have, not try and pick it apart so you feel better about getting rid of it.
