I presently have a 2011 Countryman Cooper S to which I've fitted a Westfalia towbar so that I can pull my go kart trailer (700kgs max) and it tows great. I'm wanting to change the car to a 2020 Countryman JCW and fit a towbar to that, but doing research, it seems that for the F60 Countryman JCW and PHEV versions, that BMW doesn't do a towbar fitting. Does anyone know if it would be possible to fit an aftermarket towbar to the F60 JCW, or is it structurally impossible to do this on the JCW and PHEV versions?

I have the Stealth Hitch tow package and it works a treat on my 2017 All4 S.

 

I tow with a 2019 S, I did a write up on trailer wiring here, it lists the Curt hitch I used.
