This is what we found, these will work with 2021+ LED taillight cars, MINI said no retrofit yet and they don't fit the pre facelift, so it might have been wiring or a code change, my bet is the plugs pinout are set up different.

That is a 2019 F60 with the original UJ taillights. They fit fine, not sure about the coding, the reverse lights are acting up, and you need the rain cover things between the lights and the trunk interior. Apart from that plug and play.
If you ever wonder how to tell the originals: They do have the UJ flag wrong, the aftermarkets got it right. The originals do not use the bezel anymore, the aftermarkets do. And the originals are full LED. The aftermarkets have a bulb for reverse and fog lights.

and you said about "rain cover things between the lights and the trunk interior", so does this means there's a fitment issue?
The aftermarket in ebay will cost around 580-ish, and since we dont know the quality of the led bulbs and electronics, flickering might be an issue in the future. ( I've been through alot of Amazon sold Chinese made LED Headlights and it will flicker in a couple of months).
These originals will cost around 600-700, which will by my preferred choice.

It took two days and it was a lot
of work for the mechanic..
I cooperated with an aftersale BMW/MINI Shop, where I bought them from.
I have the official installation instruction on my phone (obviously in german, maybe I will try to sit on it and translate it). But the US-Spec lights are very different (compared to the EU-Version) so i'm not sure if you can use it).
Anyway...i love the new look!

These say they are ABS rather than the PC-ABS current MINI lights that are tougher and made with a UV protective coating. If you park in the sunlight these will likely cloud up and stress crack lots quicker than original equipment lights. I'm really interested but gonna see what MINI offers or other more reputable domestic suppliers like ECS Tuning, MINIMania, Craven Speed and others.
Not sure if this help. But it says outer lens PMMA aka Acrylic. So it should be UV tolerant.
