Should I install an intake system... in Florida?

Hi F60 owners. I have a new 2019 F60 All4-S. I live in the Tampa FL area. Its hot, its humid. I am contemplating installing an intake system. Not so much for big power gains (I know they are minimal at best) but more for the increased engine bay growl, and increased throttle response. To me that is the biggest benefit. There seems to be a fair # of good intake systems available for these cars. I am leaning towards a K&N or the AEM (Im open to suggestions based on experience.) Seems like the K&N system is probably the best value for the features (heatshield, great filter, good build).
I am also considering just dropping in an upgraded K&N filter into my stock air box as its much cheaper and might have even better results. I installed one in my R60, and it made a world of difference. I couldn't believe the difference it made!
I'm concerned about installing an intake system and creating heat soak, and actually hurting my motors performance. Love to read any users feedback or experience or knowledge based on useage. THANKS!

If all you want is the growl, I would go for it. You won't get much else anyway.

I installed a CAI

I just installed an AEM CAI yesterday along with the Dinan performance engine control module and in combination, they have made a big performance improvement.

Hey @17Minicountrymans. Great photos of your engine bay! Love the intake and Dinan combo. An intake is step 1 for me. What are your thoughts on the AEM? How has the car behaved? How is the sound? Appreciate any feedback. Im torn between the AEM, and the K&N system. I am liking the design of the AEM tho. Thank you.
