I just purchased a used 2019 Countryman. When I took delivery, the car came with two additional fobs in addition to the traditional ones. They only have a single button and are in a leather case. Since I purchased from a Volvo dealer, they had no idea what it was. I can't seem to find any documentation on it anywhere. I thought that it might be a remote starter but it doesn't seem to do anything except beep. Can someone tell me what it does? Thanks.

 

It's the Find Mate fobs. Kind of like the tile. I've never used mine, but I hear they're useful

 

Thanks. Seems pretty big for a Tile-like device. I'll probably end up not using them since they take up so much space.

 

they're like luggage tags. whats cool is that you can navigate to them with the mini connected app...that works......most of the time

 

In my experience they didn't work at all with the Android platform, only IOS. I hate Apple products and so the Find Mate is useless to me.
