Cooper S Sport Seats?

My window sticker says I have "Cooper S Sport Seats" Are they different then "regular" Countryman seats? If so, what is the difference?

Larger side bolsters and the adjustable thigh support. All S's come with the Sport Seats standard. The JCWs get them if you opt for upholstery that is available only on the Sport Seats. The base Coopers have them as an option with the Signature Upholstery Package. Here's what the configurator says about the standard seats:

2017 Countryman ALL4 Swap Seats

My Precious was delivered Tuesday March 19, 2018. I’m a quite bent that CarPlay isn’t an option and the 6.5” screen is so lacking i almost want to sell and start over. Sport Seats and 8.8”display would Sparkle & Please within me.
I am new to this site as of 3 min ago but I have been researching upgrade from. 6.5” to 8.8” display and other S for a month.

Question: am I able to upgrade my seats to the Sport version? Looking at diagrams it almost appears the side foam bolsters and thigh extension can be added to standard seats as a sort of modular upgrade? Yes? No? I need the extra thigh length plus the S seats are just more comfortable. Currently I have the leatherette in carbon and both driver & passénger have 8x powered adjustment with heat.

Whats the final verdict on swapping 6.5” to 8.8”’screen? I don’t give an S if I have touchscreen. Just want CarPlay. I would settle for better smartphone to idrive software options. At present I can’t get see messages emails or etc. Had I known the limitations of that 6.5 system I would have kept looking at Countryman.
