Ok, so I've done a fair amount of searching on this topic and it seems almost ridiculous there seems to be no off the shelf solution:

Does anyone know of any mount/bracket that I can put on the base roof rack cross bars which will allow me to mount some KC lights?

I have 4 8" KC HID's from the truck I traded in for the Countryman, and I'd love to put them up top. There has to be a mount somewhere. If not,
I'm going to experiment with modifying round bar mounts.

Amazon and eBay have some nice and clean looking mounts that clamp onto different size bars. Reasonably priced and makes install of lights a brease.
