Looking to get some black wheels for my mini but having a tough time choosing which one I want that would look good. Using Tirerack to visualize them on the car but it is not very clear.


If you have black wheels on your mini, can you post a pic of them?


I also keep hearing that I should stick if possible with oem as they are build more solid than aftermarket. Is that true? For those that have installed aftermarket wheels, what is your experience?


Lastly, I will be ditching the run flats to get regular tires. I've been looking at spare option and landed on the option offered by OutMotoring. (https://www.outmotoring.com/micro-sp...wheel-f54.html) Anyone has feedback on it? Does dealer offer that option as well?

If you're looking at getting the proper spare, don't forget that you'll also require a jack and lug wrench to go along with it. Outmotoring also carries the complete kit you'll need https://www.outmotoring.com/micro-sp...126885765.html for a seamless integration into your MINI. Might be a bit spendy, but you'll save a headache from trying to piece everything together and having it fit as it should.

Can't really help ya with the black wheel thing... I do have factory black wheels, but I'm looking to get something a little more 'off-road' inspired.
