I'm almost @ 5000 miles. Saw an alert in the media screen about an oil change due soon.

I've had the vehicle for 1 year now.

I recall 10,000 miles or 1 year.

 

If you bring it in now, the dealer will/should change it for free regardless if it's hit the 10k miles. My first was at 6 or 7k.

Curious as to why the first oil change is free. Is this a first oil change type is free type of thing?

 

I'm pretty sure the first three oil changes are free...as long as you stick to the 'schedule.'

 

I swear I saw on the the center display, it said change oil at 4200 miles.
So I did.
I thought the regular dealer 'free schedule' was 7500 mile interval?
wife has car right now, but I will check again when she gets home.
