It's different from NEXT on F56, I believe those would need FSC code. EVO systems do not (I'm not sure if it's unlimited time or for the first 2-3 years like BMW.)
Search Google for "Road Map NORTH AMERICA EVO 2018-1" I found the maps through a different UK based forum. Google is always the answer.

After installing map updates, it is usually difficult to tell what has actually changed. But after I installed 2018-4 in my NAV a week ago, I noticed while driving today that for the first time, one of the 3D buildings now being displayed is the new Apple headquarters - the "Space Ship." Hadn't seen this in previous updates. It's kind of comforting to know that the data really has been updated by finding something that has visibly changed.

Just curious, have you updated recently 2019 or 2020? I have updated before without a code, but I'm having issues updating this year due to the car asking for a code. I have the NBTEvo (HU_NBT2).

I've updated my North America EVO maps on my 2017 F60 frequently. I had 2020-1 and recently upgraded to 2020-2.
