I seem to have a common problem... It's taking at least an hour to get home from work for the last two days (usually a 15 minute trip) since I picked up my new baby on Tuesday! A couple of pictures on the week 36 thread.

 

Congratus napria!!! I have to admit, I'm just a little bit jealous right about now! Our PW should arrive stateside on Monday and then about a week or more before we get him (we call him Tuxman - because he's PW with a black roof). Enjoy! And I agree - LOVE the disco ball!!

 

When I called the dealer to get a message to my MA to tell him that I'd be picking up the car that evening, the receptionist said, "Oh, I see your car -- it's under the disco ball!" I was so excited. That seems to be the place of honor at my dealership.

BTW, my eyes are not closed on the picture I posted. For some reason the pixels seem to have gotten kind of squashed or something! I still can't figure out how to post a regular size picture in the thread unless it's located on a website somewhere else first!

Good luck with Tuxman! The wait is almost over for you! It's so worth it! This is a seriously FUN car!!! (and I didn't even get the S)

 

I would feel so special to have ours parked under the disco ball - you should be honored! And I didn't think your eyes were closed, so I wouldn't worry about it. I'm not computer savvy and had to have rasputinj walk me through posting pictures a number of times before I would adequately do it myself! Enjoy motoring this weekend!!

 

Napria, you look very happy in that photo and I love your PW/Silver. I know I've seen that combination before, but it really looks good and, I think, is fairly uncommon. Very nice interior, too. Congratulations!!

 

When I configured the PW/S/S I kept looking here for others who had that combo. I think there was one or two others, but they had the silver bonnet stripes, which I knew I didn't want. I was really afraid that Bianca was going to look really plain, but I LOVE her! And I'm looking into possibly adding a custom vinyl tattoo on her bonnet.

Yay! As a fellow Don Carlos tracker and a fellow Pepper White Clubman owner, I'm pumped to see your new new wheels. Beautiful - and nice photos. I think I saw in another topic that you were considering a clear bra. Did you get one? I don't see it, but maybe they really are invisible :P

I took delivery of our tatertot last Monday (also at DMLV) and actually enjoyed the 20 hour drive home. Unfortunately I left my camera in my father's garage in Henderson! I'll add something to my gallery when I get it back.

 

Congrats Barley! Glad you were able to get your Clubbie and make it back to Oregon. I didn't get the clearbra, though it would have been a good idea since the top of my bumper got nicked on the drive home by a rock or something. Such is life.

 

I've lived in the LA area my entire life and have driven to Vegas only once...because that one trip on my 30th birthday, driving our new Accord - a rock popped up and chipped our hood and I was so mad about it. So, we're having the clear bra installed next week before we make the drive back to LA. It just better work! We three should meet some time in Vegas to celebrate the purchase and ownership of our Clubmans!

 

Another NAMer was telling me about a MINI event held in Vegas around March or so every year. I forget the name, but we should figure out what it is and head out there!

Congrats ebh, nice to see you survived the drive back from LV. I used to work years ago in an office complex just east of Fox Hills Mall in Culver City. There used to be a great italian deli on Sepulveda Blvd. I think I worked there 12 years ago.

Hope to see you around a Mini Events.. It looks like you were lucky you received you Anthracite Headliner, looks like Clubmans after you did not get theirs. I do not think that our Anthracite headliner was put in on our Clubman.

The nice thing about So Cal, there are a lot of canyons to drive on.

 

ebh great pictures. I don't know if I can make it these next 2 to 3 weeks. Salt n' Pepa set sail on 10/10 so there is not even any updates for me to track while we wait for the ship to arive on 10/22. I wish I had seen the Tuscan Beige in real life before we ordered. The web site made it look strange but man it looks great with Pepper White.
