Piper's got new wheels, too!

Konig Again4 17x7 Opal w/machined lip
~17# each.
Sweetness. They even have a subtle UJ thing going on.
(I know, I know, now I have to lower the body & get rid of the wheel gap. Coilovers are on order.
)

thanks, sandtoast. yeh, been trying to decide whether to keep the red mirrors now that i have white wheels. may go with white ones. got the idea of the brake ducts from drphil; hadn't noticed them until i saw his bad *** mini. waymotorworks is great to deal with on the brake ducts. i haven't purchased the full tubes to make them functional yet but may down the road.
especially in white. I was so pissed when they were discontinued before I had the capital collected up
aka great choice
make sure to send me a pm if you get bored of them
And Might I add.....do comparitive shopping!
Tire-Rack had Kuhmo Esta AST's 315/35/18's for 79 bucks a pop + shipping. (good price) but let my fingers do the walking and found them for 80 bucks a pop with FREE shipping.
Got them in two days. Also when looking for hub-centric rings, call the wheel manufacturer directly if you don't know the bore diameter instead of relying on web-sites that have you plug-in the year make and model and wheel manufacturer. They won't tell you the size on those sites because you can find hub-centric rings elsewhere for half the price!!

Well, I may be cursed with only a Blackberry for a camera and a general lack of photography skills, but I did manage to snag a few pics of my new wheel/tire setup.
Ronal R38, 17"x7.5" +35 offset wrapped up nicely in 215/45-17 Nitto Neogens. I'm loving the way these things have changed the stance of my car from the stock bridge-spoke arrangement...now just need to work on dropping it a little bit.
Tires get their first workout this weekend at a BMWCCA sponsored track school. I'm hoping to be able to report a stellar experience.

I received my "new" wheels a couple weeks ago. I was hoping to swap the tires of my old one's onto these, but unfortuneately they were stolen. I can't really shell out too much more cash at this time so I need to wait a bit.
Anyway, I picked up some BBS RY-II's in excellent condition. I believe these are no longer available and were sold 10 years ago??? Not 100% sure, but I know they looked bad a$$ on Konky's car and I'm hoping I can pull it off on my car. I hope the wheel guru's approve!
