It was a great time, Linda and I enjoyed it. My understanding is that next years date will be announced in the near future and everyone should make plans to attend. I did manage to get some video out the drivers window and I'm trying to get it edited now. Now lets see I've got to figure out how to get that computer hooked up to the internet and um... Lady at work asked me if I was part of it, and told me that she saw the video this morning on the news. Saw another MINI on Military Hwy still driving with their number sticker in the window today.

then i carefully take them off, roll off the lot with a new inspection and put them right back on. Can't wait to see what number I will be next year. Number 53 was me this year. Had a blast.

Right now we are in Norfolk. I did not see it on the news, a person I work with saw it. Other than movies on DVD Linda and I don't watch TV, and haven't for 7 years, quite liberating actually.

Thanks MiniMac- that sidewalk was heavily optioned-I didn't notice anything missing that could be put on it-I can imagine the sticker was $$$$. It had a temp tag still on it- in fact I spoke with 2-3 people that had bought their MINI the day before the event-and I thought mine was new at 3 weeks old!
It was cool as there were several rare color, packages etc. in attendence-likethe BRG cabrio with the matching top or the silk green/white MC ,or the gold/black MC- not to mention all the custom work that had been applied.

I took a lot of pictures. I am loading just about all of them on smugmug.

the loading is still going on. At the start I have an index of sorts. Near the end I was standing in the roadway taking pictures of people as they came in. You should be able to download your picture or order a print. The files are a bit on the large side.
