Advice on removing stock exhaust

I'm getting ready to install a Scorpion exhaust. As far as I can see, the stock JCW exhaust is one piece from the catalytic downpipe.
Do you disconnect the two hangers and the clamp to the cat, slide forward and then remove the whole exhaust 'down and out' from the rear? Do any of the cross braces need to be removed?
Sorry for the dumb question.
