Hello! I just came here to share these before and after photos of my 2011 Countryman S (R60). I spent many many hours researching and 90% of what I found told me “it can’t be done” so I thought I’d share that it can be.

After - the buttons control my exterior lights including DRLs

 

Was this a particular kit? Does the screen replace the temperature control or just cover it?

 

Looks a bit on the 'messy' side ....

 

Interesting.

I think I would have disassembled the screen so it replaces the mini screen rather than covering the heater controls.
