Ok so I just bought a 2013 Countryman S All4 (n18) on Friday, drove it about 1.5 hrs home with no issues up until about a mile from the house (unfortunately left my obd2 dongle at home). Reduced power light, CEL come on. Limp home at like 20mph and scan for codes and get the following codes. All seem TPS/throttle related. I cleared them to see if I can replicate the issue or see if it was a fluke.
The next day I hook up my torque app and start monitoring the Throttle % while driving. I was getting between 25-30% while cruising keeping a pretty steady foot when out of no where I catch a spike up to 85% then back down to 25-30% and then back up to 65% and back down, all while not moving my foot. Now while all this spiking is going there is no change to the engine, no rpm change, no acceleration change. Boom reduced engine power/pending codes again.
Something is telling my ECU the that the throttle is jumping and the only things I can think of are TPS adaptation, faulty TPS/TB or faulty Pedal sensor. Thoughts? I will try and get a video in a bit of my torque app showing the spikes.
does seem like a faulty throttle pedal doesn't it?
Out of curiosity, does it behave any differently when cruise is engaged? (and the pedal is fully up)

Actually have not thought of trying that. Will give it a try after work. But I do remember that when the reduced power light came on, it showed the cruise icon but in yellow (cruise was not on).
