Replace springs with shocks?

Hi, I have a 2015 S All4 with 85k. Rear shocks are weak. I’ve been reading on here and it seems these are known for breaking springs. I’m satisfied with the stock handling but don’t want to deal with the spring snapping. I was considering Bilstein B4s. Does anyone have any experience with these? Also any spring options that don’t lower the car? We do a lot of hiking and the rough dirt roads can be impassable for a lowered car. I looked up the JCW springs but looks like they are big$$$. Worth it?

Keep the stock springs, and add Bilstein B6. The B4s are a mid-tier stock replacement. The B6 will give you much improved handling, and last much longer than the B4s.
