Dechrome/Blackout complete

It took too long but it's done. Not great pictures but I had to share. Fender flares, scuttles, front grill, light trim (and headlight washers) and beltline.

Also added the "S red" to the 4, S to the front grill, and an R60 emblem to the hatch.

So, stripes?

Looks great! Where did you get your grill "S" badge?

I got it on Ebay. Look closely, there are Toyota "S" emblems as well being sold as Mini emblems. It was only about 10 dollars US.

Nice! You Can get factory ones now that say Countryman on the back and the Cooper S logo. On the back/

Where did you get the "R60" badge? I have been thinking about getting that for mine. I bought my R60 about 80% dechromed and have not had the time/ambition to dechrome the window trim. I have also toyed around with replacing the side scuttle light, how do you like yours? Your R60 looks great btw *drool*

Thanks. The window trim was way easier than I expected. Trim tape is surprisingly easy to use. It takes no time and weathers well.

I got the R60 badge at Waymotorworks. A poster on another forum said it looks like a VW font. He might be right. What the heck though. VW font on a German designed, Austrian built British brand. Celebrate diversity.

As for the scuttle lights, they are ok. I just ordered new ones actually. These look ok but only lasted a bit over a year before burning out. Not impressed with the lifespan.
