'13 Countryman Base - To turbo or not to turbo?

Hey guys! I'm a new '13 Countryman owner, and new to the forums here.

I'm not new to modding (not a pro either), and was looking for some input on getting a turbo installed on a base R60 engine.

Would internals need to be upgraded? How difficult is the process itself?

I looked around online, but haven't found much aside from someone who blew their engine apart and another dude who's Mini died a few days after installing.

Thanks in advance all!

**EDIT** Is this even possible??? **EDIT**

Here's a (bad) pic of my new pride n' joy.

Those two samples that you found should give you a clue on what not to do. Consider installing a sprint booster and doing an ECU remap instead or simply trade yours in for an "S" version.
