Tire suggestions

Looking for tire suggestions for 2012 All4 S. Was thinking maybe 225/50R17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ or Conti Extremecontact DWS 06? Anyone with any experience with these sizes/tires or other good suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I had the A/S 3+ on a BMW 328, and it was fantastic wet or dry. Didn't get much chance to try it in snow, but grip otherwise was outstanding, and they wore very evenly. Highly recommended. The only reason they're not on my Mini right now is that I bought new, and I'm waiting for the Contis to wear out.

If you run across the Conti Surecontact RX at a local store, it's essentially the same as the DWS but with a different tread pattern. The specs on the Conti website are essentially the same. Their CS will confirm it too I believe. I picked up a set and they've been great. No snow yet though!

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ is a fantastic tire....I have them on our 2015 CMS All4 (on the 18" silver turbo spoke optional wheels) and the transformation from the stock 17" wheels and runflats has been an outstanding improvement even on the lower profile 18"s! The 18"s look way better also on the Countryman.

I'm running a set of firestone firehawk indy 500s on a 2015 cms all4. Great tire, very soft compound, so lots of grip. They have a tread pattern somewhere between a regular tire and a semi slick, so be careful if the roads around you tend to have standing water, or mud. Also if you're in a particularly cold climate, this might not be the tire for you as they aren't rated for below about 40 Fahrenheit. ( running a 225/50/17 on the stock rims.)

Running Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 on my CM, R53 and VW. Awesome tire, reasonable price, great look.

You are looking at great tires. I have the Continental Extreme Contact DWS in 215/55/17.

Great in all conditins and so much quieter than the RFs

Good luck and enjoy your new tires.
