Left Outer Tie Rod & Thermostat @ 65k

As always I like to report when the "standard" things are going wrong. So let me join the club by announcing that I too am in the Thermostat replacement crew. Mine lasted 65K. I took it in to Bay Bridge Mini and Bimmer (Oakland Ca)
for a outer tie rod. I was told that its rare and given some special attention right then and there for a preliminary check. Turns out the outer left was wobbling. On that we did some papers and I was on my way. Thats when the watchful eye of BBM spotted some white residue showing on the thermostat itself. It was just starting to seep. So Props to BBM for the good eye. They also replaced a clearance light with out my request or a charge. Good MEN! Im fortunate that these items are under warranty for me. I love my MINI R60 S, but I also love my aftermarket warranty too! Good Men over there too. (Carchex) Not a review for either company just a happy customer of both.
