I just realized these today when I installing CAI,
First no hose from the sensor from the air duct ??
Second nothing plug on the turbo or coolant sensor??
Can someone help, or do you have any pic to upload in yours??

The sensor on the intake is just like that. If you feel/look at the part that looks like a house should go on it, its sealed off. I had the same thought first time I saw it too.

As for the missing harness, I can't say that I've run into that. If you don't have any check engine lights, I'd says its probably just a hole filler. Is that on the backside of the engine? its hard to tell from your photos, I can look at mine.

Hey,

The second plug/sensor is the coolant temperature sensor at engine outlet/radistor inlet. However I had some problems a couple of days ago that there was a leak at the sensor. The second problem was I could not find these part in the bmw part list or schematic.
Maybe it is a fix or change of piping which was done later but someone forgot to attwch the wiring to your sensor?

That plug is the coolant temperature sensor. The old model was set into an elbow like you have - they started integrating it into the thermostat housing itself around 2013 I believe. I'm guessing your thermostat has been replaced with one that has a new sensor in the housing, and rather than replacing the radiator hose with the expensive model that removes that metal elbow, they just left it in place.

My R60 looks just like yours after I replaced my thermostat and has no issues.

Ditto! I had my thermostat replaced and now that metal elbow is left with the old sensor. My order sheet shows some kind of "adapter" kit was used for the new thermostat that included the coolant sensor
