Is the 2012 Mini Countryman S 2wd engin the same as a 2014 S all4?

I believe both utilize the N18B16A engine. Are you looking to swap engines or something of the sort?

Looking into installing a racechip ultimate but the company is telling me there are a couple of different engines and to send the chip back to them for "reprogramming" which will cost me $150. I got the chip used so I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!
