Adaptive headlights Q.

Picking up a set of AHL for a great price and was wondering if I can't figure out how to get the adaptive feature working can I use it as non adaptive? I don't mind not having the adaptive feature but at least able to use it. I've search but all the threads are for the conversion and doesn't ans my Q.

Adaptive headlights

To activate them turn the headlight switch to auto. All the way clockwise. You see them working the best on high beam on curvy roads. I absolutely love this feature. Passengers also love the way the lights turn around curves the follow the road. It's awesome!!!!!!!

Wish I had them on the car when I got them. I got a used 2014 all4 with stick halogens so I'm planning on switching them out for the AHL. I got the lights but need some more info.

I was wondering if I need this thing to use just the high and low beams? Lights I got came with only one (
I looked around and can't find them.

The adaptive headlights use the sensor on the column to corner the lights back and forth , did you try them ? You had xenon before correct?

No I have halogens on my CMS now. I'm planning on getting just the high and lows to work. I just hope I don't need that unit to use H & L beams.
