R60 CMS - JCW Exhaust questions

I am shopping for an R60 and am curious how many people here have the JCW exhaust installed on a CMS. I've seen some youtube clips of how the exhaust sounds. I want a nice burble, but not too much, and I want no drone.

I cannot tell from most of the clips if the owners also installed the midpipe. I assume that midpipe replaces the resonator? Does anyone have a JCW exhaust installed with the resonator (no midpipe) and any more recent exhaust clips (most of the youtube clips are years ago at this point)?

You can remove the cats, but leave the resonator in. If you remove the resonator the exhaust will become higher pitched, instead of the lower bass sound you want
