Audible "vibration" on acceleration

Hello all,
I have been experiencing a fairly loud vibration in my 2012 Countryman S ALL4.
This occurs upon rapid acceleration from a dead stop and seems to emanate from underneath the vehicle toward the center between the driver/passenger seats. This "vibration" is similar to a "choking" sound or very rapid "flutter".
At first I suspected this was related to the turbo system (i.e. an airflow pipe or exhaust?) but was curious if you folks had any experience or input on this.
Thanks in advance for your attention!

I have a similar sound that happens on acceleration while at cruising speed. It happens for a couple of seconds as you hit the accelerator almost like it's only happening at a certain frequency, because when you press the pedal harder it goes away. My gut feeling is a minor exhaust leak.

Thanks for your input. I did notice while driving to work this morning that, as you stated it only seems to last for a few seconds. I will have it up on the lift this weekend and test by revving to see if I can locate the source of this noise. I will post back with my findings. Cheers!
