Spark plugs NEED HELP

I just bought theses plugs for 12.99 a piece and they come gapped at .044 I've read that there supposed to be at .028 for a r60 engine. So now I'm confused and getting ready to go to Florida next week. But plugs are Denso Denso SXU22HCR11S Iridium Long Life (SIP) Spark Plug. Can anyone give me some insite. " I have already purchased socket" thanks

Looks like the Denso are pre gapped 0.044 and they dont use that 12 point head socket , but a normal thin wall 6 point socket. I used the Beru spark plugs with no issues and set to that gap. Denso cross ref can be a pain.

Do you have a Cooper or Cooper S ?

Shows it for the "S"

and here

The gap is 0.44

I would call denso as there gap seem to be that based on the plug arch or its mistake.
