Hi Everyone,
RE: 2015 Countryman All 4
I am looking for front seat covers. My main concern is they won't affect the air bags in the seat. Any thoughts?
I also do not have Sirius in the radio package. Has anyone added it? I understand that it is only a matter of programming but the dealer wants $600.00. Can I do it myself or take it somewhere? I really would prefer not to get the add-on unit.
Thanks in advance.

I've added yet. Yes, kinda pricey. The charge is for the labor of the programming, but it also comes with 1 year of service, so that might help a little bit.Originally Posted by Morry

Also, call around, I've found more than one dealership that would do it for more than $100 off, in Northern CA.

Just put Sirius radio in my 2005 S hardtop by placing the antenna inside on top of dash in passenger side front windshield. ran wire from antenna down by door under glove compartment to Sirius unit. I mounted unit on holder and placed it in one of the cup holders in front of gear leaver. power to cigarette lighter. Looks nice cost of unit under ten dollars on one of Sirius deals. Just have to tune radio to FM station and It works great.

Sirius sent me that Onyx player too, but I didn't know how to make it look good.
Can you take a pic of your set up?

Just play around with the antenna and wires and it will come easily. It should take no more than 30 to 60 minutes to run wires and set up. Radio is placed in front of gear shift in cup holder on driver side. Wires through the glove box stay hidden with a little bit showing to radio. Power cord is to back of radio to lighter. the radio fits in the power part of radio component and the base will go in the cup holder.

I'd much rather enable sat radio on the factory system (with steering wheel controls, integrated display, etc.) than trying to mount a separate piece of hardware on the small dashboard of this car. IMO, it's worth the price, especially if you can find a deal.

I had the dealership install and activate Sirius radio, no extra hardware, as the antenna (shark's fin) is already on the roof of the 2015 S Countryman All4. I think it's just a wiring issue, and the labor time it takes to activate it. Cost was $499, but I negotiated it into the purchase price of the car. (If ordered as a factory installed option it's $300).
