R60 MINI BritCar USB Flash Drive
MINI BritCar USB Flash Drive
Just bought a used 2014 Mini Countryman S All4 that unfortunately did not come with SiriusXM activated. I don't feel like spending the $400+ to have MINI activate it so prob going with usb to listen to music. I saw this USB drive from MINI that looks pretty sweet, seems to light up with the Union Jack sign when plugged in. I was wondering if anyone has this specific USB drive and if they were able to plug this into the USB slot next to the Aux slot in the car? That space looks kind of tight so wasn't sure if it wasn't going to fit. Thanks!
Just use a variety of regular 16-32gb USB sticks. When I'm driving I am not staring at the USB stick so what does it matter what it looks like. My wife had Sirius, I kept hounding her on the money drain, bought her an SD card (VW takes one) and now she has a source of music without forking over $10 a month.
Yep - I didn't answer your question - sorry

I use a super tiny US stick, capless and surround-less, like this one (except mine is 32gb): http://www.ebay.com/itm/SONY-8GB-USB-Flash-Drives-Micro-Vault-ENTRY-Mini-Cap-less-Memory-Stick-8G-GV-/121571787317?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c4e3e4235
I also like my XM, and consider it worth the cost for the variety and new music.
