I am importing my 2014 CM All4 into Canada from US. I was informed that I need to pay 5% duty on top of 6% tax and then another 8% provincial tax. I can avoid the duty if the production plant was in North America. I think this was a long shot, but if my VIN starts with WM, is it assembled in Germany or could it have been made in North America?
