I would advise not doubling the mats ( placing liners over the installed carpeted mats) as the MINI ones are anchored ( driver side ) via velcro on the MINI liner version and contour fit to the foot well. Also so they don't slide around and slip in front of the pedal.

No. That makes no sense. Why do you need temporary mats while waiting for your cocomats if you already have some?

Only the cuckoo mats should be doubled up like that. ::
