Hatch latch and striker broken?
I have a 2011 countryman s and have notice that the striker which is covered in a hard plastic has started to wear out and thought that was normal then I looked at the latch on the lower part of the hatch,it looks like some of the metal latch has broken off? Is that normal? The hatch still closes. I took it to the dealer and they said thats normal regarding the wear on the striker and broken latch. I have been noticing vibration coming from the hatch area though. Can anyone verify if their hatch striker also has wear and the latch piece?
