MINI Alignment

I've got an R60 w/40K miles. MINI service wants about $200 for an alignment (once and done). NTB, for a bit less, offers a 3-yr alignment pkg. My nearby NTB has done alignments on my other vehicles (pickup, minivan) quite satisfactorily. Is there any reason I should consider having MINI do the work instead of a more reasonably priced service vendor (NTB or other)?

No reason to pay the inflated dealer prices for that. If anything, the alignment tech at NTB is likely far more experienced than the tech who would do the alignment at your dealer. The NTB technician likely does more alignments in a couple of days than your dealer does in a month. Does your dealer even have an alignment machine? They are expensive. Would not be surprised if some Mini dealers sub-contract alignments to the local BMW dealer (often the same owner as the Mini dealer down the street), or even to NTB

I'm surprised you can't find it for in the $100 range by shopping around.

Just curious, why do you think you need an alignment?
