Red face WOW this is wierd

I bought the HOEN aftermarket LED parking bulbs quite some time ago around 6months ago to be exact and never had any issues after the install,, but recently received a bulb out error message random,? so I took it by the dealer to have them run a quick diagnostic of the system and modules just to be sure and they say its def . due to the aftermarket bulbs.....just thought it was strange that after all this time, all of a sudden it now wants to send an error....well im leaving the bulbs in because I like the way they look WAYYYY better then stock but was just curious if anybody else heard of this issue or has this issue with the HOEN brand bulb?

It's common for aftermarket LED plug-and-play replacement bulbs to burn out. Most aftermarket LED bulbs don't have enough heat sink to stay at ideal temperatures. Parking lights are especially prone to failure because they are constantly on and the LEDs get hot, reducing their life. You'll have to keep replacing them as they burn out, or switch to standard bulbs.

Light housings specifically designed for LEDs don't have the problem. The issue is with aftermarket LED plug-and-play bulbs.
