I have the H&K Sound system and although it is missing some bass, it is pretty good for a factory system, however, the car went in for service last week and this weekend it was not working properly, it sounded like it had an equalizer in acoustic mode. I went to my iphone to take a look at it and it was off. I was getting pissed, last night I reinstalled all my songs on the iphone, since it would not happen with the radio. Today I went for a ride and the same thing, I was getting really angry, came back home and start fiddling with the system. Long story short, the Y cable was not properly inserted, it had a small bit to go in, and that has caused all the problems. Just a heads up, if your system is not working properly, first check the cables.
