Hi, All, I have now in my 3rd week for my MC JCW. I have not get a chance to play around too much of the electronic stuff. I just started to use the GPS and I found out it only has turn by turn voice and no street names. Then I also noticed that, a lot of major street names are also missing. For example, I am driving, and the street ahead of me or even intersections have no names indicate on the map where am I heading to, I hope this is not the way it is, and I hope there is a simple set up to adjust this problem. Help? Thanks!

 

I have the Mini nav but opt to use my 4 year old potable unit which as text to speech .

I only use the mini nav for traffic, but that dont work most of time.

 

I'm afraid the MINI Nav does not include all the street names even when you zoom in. Apparently, the folks who designed the system didn't think that would be a useful thing for people to use.

 

I just drove my CM through SF for the first time yesterday, and found the nav passable. I had it set up so it showed the map, and then on the right of the screen showed your next turn, and the street name.

 

Only if you set a "destination" in order to show street names correct?
