Arrow Running Day Lights

I think these look the business. Looked at getting them from dealer this week.

Anyone else had them fitted yet? I know a really new addition to retro fits for the R60... but curious if anyone on else going down this route?
Today I got hold of the Installation Instructions, and it seems fairly straight forward job as I believe they don't need 'coding' as such.

From the Installation Instructions I printed today, the part number is;

RETROFIT KIT NUMBER 63 12 2 338 554

This part is OEM and the document I have is an official MINI doc.

Obviously these would replace the existing fog lights... which to be honest is fine as would go better with my xenons!

Had a price today of around £260.

This is a UK website, so you might be able to dig out more info from here;

They look pretty cool. When you say, replace existing fog lights, that make sense. But is there a fog light in there? Or are you losing the fog light entirely?

My BMW contact tells me you lose the fog, as the LEDs are brighter.

So these will replace the entire fog/city light circular cluster. OK, I understand that but, when installed in a USA MINI, your DRLs will be BOTH the (new) angel eyes AND the low beams. Maybe a bit of overkill???

Of course, this assumes that power for the units comes from the city lights (parking light) circuit and not the fog light circuit. Do the instructions indicate from which circuit power is obtained?

And what about foggy conditions. The lack of a horizontal cutoff to the beam means that in foggy conditions, you will need the low beams or the angel eyes; both of which will reflect their beams back to the driver and be ineffective (if not dangerous).
