When was your production week? My MA isn't in and I can't figure out where my car is other than somewhere between Austria and Colorado...

Finally, got my MA to respond and got my full VIN. I loaded it in on the W&W website and it looks like it was loaded onto the BESS ? on 11/18/2012 and the ETA they show to arrive in Port Hueneme is 12/12/2012.


For anyone else who has theirs already and tracked their order on W&W, was the ETA they gave accurate?

I'm trying to get it in time for a road trip back home for Xmas. It would be fine if I lived in Cali, but I live in Colorado and I still have to wait for the truck to deliver it to the dealer.

For anyon who lives in Colorado and had theirs delivered to Schomp, any info on how long it took for the car to get from the port to the dealer?

 

I've had the same issue with my 2013 MINI Countrman order...still waiting....OL lounge says "too quick on draw...locked account". My dealer is getting tired of me calling him.

Here's my timeline from my many calls:

11/2 Paint shop
11/6 Completed
11/14 Produced (not yet shipped) VPC in Europe Austria to port in Atlanta
12/12 Estimated Delivery date

 

The shipping schedule is pretty accurate. Mine was on the Asian King and I have tracked it from when it sailed for Bremerhaven. The ship arrived as advertised yesterday in Baltimore. So mine is sitting on the VPC lot waiting for prep and delivery this week.

 

Our 2012 CMS finally came home with us the day before Thanksgiving. What with the holidays, I'm still working on some pics. Plus, it's more fun to drive it than it is to take pictures of it, so I guess that's part of the problem.

Here's my timeline, for what it's worth. I tried to format it as a table but it didn't look right. The dates come from three possible sources: MA/actual, meaning the date came from my MA or something actually happened on that day (I saw it happen), AM (ask mini), or OL (owner's lounge). I don't have dates from all three sources for most of these milestones, but there's still enough here to see how things changed relative to each other.

Ordered: 9/29 (MA/actual)
Scheduled for Production: 10/5 (MA/actual); 10/8 (AM); 10/9 (OL)
Paint Shop: 10/13 (AM)

I live in the DFW area, and I was surprised that I took the car home 6 days after it hit Brunswick. My MA told me that sometimes the truck gets here fast, and sometimes it doesn't. The dealer took one day to add the roof rails, driving lamps, and window tint. We picked it up about 6pm on the 21st.

 

So, my 2013 CMS has finally been placed on "In Transit" status per the Mini automated line. I know that it has to be on Palmela with the following details:

DEBRV BREMERHAVEN 27.11.2012
USNTD PORT HUENEME 20.12.2012

PALMELA VC UNITED MITSUI OSKL GSJK031 112A 9207388 H3AP

The question is, how do I track the vin number to see where the ship is at? I know how to do it with the WW site, but this ship is United. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

I had much better luck tracking the ship with: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/

Just type in the name of the vessel on the left hand side and hit enter. If the ship is in an area covered by the green squares you will get a result. I watched the ship mine was on from Bremerhaven to Baltimore.

The shipping schedule is dead on. Time is money to these guys.

Could you please tell me what is the type of your Countryman in your VIN for 2013 models ?
I ordered a Countryman Cooper S (FWD), and the type is apparently ZC41, and was ZC31 on 2010, 2011 and 2012. Does your VIN correspond to this :

Cooper : ZB33
Cooper S : ZC33
Cooper S All4 : ZC53

Or is it different ?

So it turns out my car is on the Auriga Leader which is an NYK line due in Port Hueneme on 12/19. The strange news from that port today is that port workers have gone on strike! As a result the ships currently there can't unload! It better clear up quickly or we will be in trouble! I got 3 weeks to go before I have a car again; I can't wait!!!

 

I just put "Port Hueneme strike" in Google News and this was the first result.

I tried this, but it has no record or the ship "BESS" which mine is on... Everytime I punch it in, it just keeps saying that there's no record of it. According to the WW site, it's set to go through the Panama Canal on 12/03, which means it should be somewhere in the Carribbean right now... meaning it should be showing up on one of the tracking sites... I must be doing something wrong...

 

The Bess is moored in Panama as I write this on Dec. 3rd. Good luck Bueno!

 

Hey Bueno, I just noticed that my CMS All4, which is also on Bess, is a lot like yours: light white w/black, polar beige color line, cold weather package, premium 1 package, mini connected w/nav package, xenons w/adaptive, moonroof, h/k sound, comfort access. I ordered on 10/16 and they didn't have the new package data at the time, otherwise I would have put things together slightly differently and saved myself about $250. Still, the same configuration w/2012 pricing came to $500 more!

I just checked on Bess, and she's left the port in Panama, and now waiting to get through the canal!

 

Our 2013 Countryman in on the Taiko which left Bremerhaven yesterday at 6:50 pm, should be at NY/NJ port on 12/15!
