Towing capacity

I am just wondering if anyone has ever looked into the max towing capacity amount? Even though I hate the idea of towing my motorcycles next summer from Florida to New Hampshire for Laconia bike week but my son will be 1 by then and our families live in NH and CT, so we are looking to make a nice vacation out of it. My wife won't let me mount the car seat to the rear of my bike, plus I am sure I wouldn't make it to far down the road like that before being stopped. (Just so people know...I AM ONLY JOKING ABOUT MOUNTING THE CAR SEAT TO MY MOTORCYCLE...It's just a joke people, so no need to get upset.)

Steve, I believe for the R60 the weight is 2k lb.

MiniDoMore.com has them for $285 shipped. You still need the electronic brake light adapter too.

Don't think the R60 is listed by curt yet but...
DelCity is who I buy lots of electronics from, but right now they are selling curt hitches for pretty cheap and free shipping over $99.

We went with the MiniFini set up I don't think you'll find as heavy duty setup and it is nearly invisible when not in use.

Crap I think I won't be able to tow the bikes and my enclosed trailer at 2k lbs. The wife's bike weights 575 lbs full fluid and my new bike weights 811 full fluid and my trailer weights 2500 lbs itself, so I think that route is out of the question but thanks for the info.

Maybe I will just fly the wife and boy home and ride my bike back instead. Have plenty of time to figure it out still.

I didn't know you had an enclosed trailer? That much wind resistance and empty would be more than the CM should tow.

PS, ever get your gas cap figured out?

Yeah another buddy and I bought one back when we were racing sportbikes and now we have it for the motorcycles in general. We keep it at a storage place due to the great gated community of Tortuga. LOL!!

On the other note, I have not been able to get together with David to figure it out.

Countryman is rated as type1 trailer towing capacity...which is 1500-2000 lbs.
