I have only had mine for a couple weeks. Been getting high 20s so far. I am doing a long road trip this weekend and will report back how she does. For a car with its performance and all wheel drive, it does very good in my book. I was looking at the earlier RDXs when shopping around (new ones are huge and horrendous!) that turbo 4 gets 22 23 on the free way with similar performance. The bad gas mileage and lack of a manual dropped it from my list quickly.

I have the CM S All4 auto and the 4 wheel doesn't get in the way of fun driving and gives you lots of confidence when the roads are wet. You can feel the front wheel action on dry roads and it eliminated the torque steer get on the MCS. You can feel the power shift to the rear wheels when it's been raining. So if you drive in the the rain or you in the TN mountains then the All4 is for you. Otherwise you could get the FWD and be happy. I can't wait to try it out whe the snow hits here in IN...

I have the S Only 2. I came from a MkV VW GTI. I live north of Philly. I found out with the GTI that a good set of winter tires give you a lot of capability during the winter months. Plus, with an extra set of rims/tires you can pick something with a bit more sidewall to absorb the potholes that open up during the winter.

I have about 2k on my car now. I have not recorded anything less than 30 mpg so far. Seems to be settling in around 32 mpg. My commute is mostly highway, but can be stop and go up Rt. 1 up through Princeton, NJ.

Spent 9 yrs in Lexington, KY. We had an AWD vehicle and were glad of it in the winter. Not a lot of ice/snow, but enough of it to appreciate the AWD at least a few weeks worth of days a year. I have the FWD CMS and its great, but I'm in TX now so very rare need for the AWD. That said, if your job lets you work from home on bad days, get the vehicle with the toys, you'll use them much more than the AWD. And FWD will still let you creep up the the store in bad weather if needed.

I just took a road trip and average 70.2 with 30.3mpg. Not to bad for a car of its performance and ALL4. It does better then my last car, a 2004 TSX.

I wonder how it will be after I do a couple modifications? We shall see soon!
