Glad I could help. the only thing I thought about doing if i do stripes is just an outline like I did on my wife's old R56...dont laugh only picture I had in my phone was the day picking up the christmas tree... but with everything being custom painted spice Orange, I am not sure i will find vinyl exact to match the orange, so probably no stripes.

 

Stripes = proper Cooper!

 

Mine came with the OEM stripes, and I had them removed. I agree they seemed under-sized. While I love seeng all the different custom stripes on the other Minis--mine remains..".improperly" nekkid.
Around here, if you are naked--you are without clothing. If you are "nekkid"--you are up to no good!

Mine was ordered nekkid, since I did not want the factory stripes. I ordered my stripes from mini-graphics.co.uk, not the best customer service but I am really please with the quality. lots of options to cover up!

 

Watch for nekkid Mr MINI this weekend on the 15 and the 5, coming back home to Diego, amigo. Can't wait to get in my driveway and actually be comfortable putzing with my car rather than feeling like a wiener cooking on the grill.

 

I ordered mine in its birthday suit as well, as the factory stripes did not appeal to me at all, and have not yet found aftermarket stripes that I was sure not to get tired of later.

Be keeping an eye out for you on the 5 and the 15!
